I had an amazing experience at Sharp Eyes. I haven’t been to an optometrist for about 15 years. They took me in that same day without an appointment and treated me with kindness and respect. I didn’t feel like a patient. I felt like a person.
Absolutely the best staff and doctor. Everyone, doc included, took their time making sure my individual needs were met to the best of their ability. They make everyone feel warm and welcome. Lynn helped me find the right frames for my face and was both kind and helpful. While I was in, there was a difficult customer wanting a lot of explanation and the man talking to him was very patient and went above and beyond to explain everything in detail to the customer. I could tell the customer came in worried but he left very happy and noticeably relieved. You’ll leave there feeling better than you went in!
Dr. Floyd and her staff are absolutely incredible. They do everything they can to make sure you are completely satisfied. I've been a patient of hers for 20 years and recently had my first "problem" with lenses. Both she and her office staff worked to get me scheduled and taken care of very quickly. You can tell everyone there actually cares about the patients and office in general. Would recommend for kids, teens and adults (not a senior yet).
Dr. Floyd is very patient and caring. She takes her time to give you full attention during the eye examination, and will make the best recommendation for contacts and/or eye glasses. She cares about her customers. The staff is very attentive and friendly. They will handle and process all your transactions with your insurance co. They go the extra mile. I've been coming here for years, long before the pandemic hit. Both of the doctors are exceptional and they have a wonderful staff who are very friendly and take great care of your eyesight needs. Everything is carefully sanitized after each patient in the exam room and the testing rooms. If you need glasses they have an excellent selection of fashionable frames in every style and color and you may try on as many as you like to find the perfect pair. Each pair you try on is sanitized before and after for your safety. I felt perfectly safe at my appointment this week and I can't wait for my new glasses to come in! Going to the eye doctor is my favorite medical appointment of all of the doctors I see all year long and I always look forward to my annual eye exam at Sharp Eyes.
Dr. Floyd and her staff are amazing! She is very kind, patient, and thorough with her examinations. The optician who helped me, I think her name was Lisa, was so sweet and funny! She also gave me a discount, which I greatly appreciated because I currently do not have vision insurance. As a first time patient, I was very satisfied with my experience and can’t wait to get my new glasses! I highly recommend Sharp Eyes!
Can get an appointment within a reasonable amount of time; customer service is great; the tech who helps with your glasses after your exam is phenomenal and definitely knows what she’s doing, as well as knows what frame or frames look good with your face structure. Dr. Floyd is awesome! She takes pride in her work and examines your eyes thoroughly. She found something with mine, and when I went to an eye surgeon, they told me not too many eye doctors would have caught it. Very grateful for her and the care that she shows.
We have been loyal customers of Dr Floyd and Dr Rosenberg for years. We have experienced great customer service and care by both doctors. The staff are professional and do a great job. They have added electronic notifications so you know when your contacts and glasses are ready.
My children and wife used to use a different optometrist but switched when we discussed the different prices they were paying for glasses. They are willing to drive from Roanoke so that in itself should show the trust and appreciation we put in this office.
